Xenon Power Supply Specification

The QT112AXE power supply is designed to run xenon arc lamps in a constant-power mode. The output power is adjustable from 90 to 140 Watts via a potentiometer on the circuit board. EMI line-filtering is built-in to the unit. The supply includes a +12V output for powering external fans or electronics, a lamp over-voltage warning, lamp over-voltage disable, and external disable.

Output regulation: output power held to within +/- 5% over all input, output, and environmental conditions.

  • Lamp Over-voltage Alert: active when lamp voltage reaches 17.5 +/- 0.175 VDC.
  • External Lamp Disable
Over-voltage shutdown: Shuts down the lamp output if the lamp voltage exceeds 17.75VDV for more than 1 second.

Regulatory Compliance: Approved to UL2601 (E177225). Complies with EN55011 Class B Emissions. CE-marked.

Ignitor:
25 KV ignition spike, positive ignition.
Minimum repetition rate is 0.8 strikes/second at 90 VAC. Typical repetition
rate is 1.0 strikes/second (110 VAC).
Ignition pulses will continue for 10 seconds max. If ignitor disable jumper is installed, ignition pulses will continue indefinitely until lamp is lit.

„ Low frequency ripple is measured in a DC to 1 KHz bandwidth and stated as percent of DC output current.

* Broadband ripple is measured in a DC to 20 MHz bandwidth.
