Power Supply Specification
The CE105 power supply is designed to run xenon arc lamps
in a constant-current mode. The supply is designed to operate xenon arc-lamps
in the 100 watt class, including the Cermax 75W and the XBO 100W. The
output current is adjustable from 6.5 to 9.0 Amps via a potentiometer
on the circuit board. EMI line-filtering is built-in to the unit. The
CE180BXE is the same as the A-model except it does not have Y-capacitors
in the line filter section. The CE18OCXE has smaller Y-capacitors to meet
the 100 ~uA leakage requirement of many U.S. hospitals.
Output power: 62 - 144 Watts, constant current
Output voltage compliance: 9.5 to 16.0 V operating, >110 VDC
during ignition.
Output regulation: output current held to within +/- 5% over all
input, output, and environmental conditions.

|
Output current: 6.5 to 9.0 Adc
Output ripple: <0.4 Ap-p *
Efficiency: >72% at 144 W output, 120 VAC input
Thermal protection: ballast is disabled when temperature
exceeds 90 deg C. Unit will automatically restart after cooling
down.
Auxiliary output (non-isolated): +12V fan power, 650 mA max.
12.OV to 12.8V at 250mA load.
